An inspection by a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors-qualified surveyor. Several UK lenders specifically require an independent RICS report after spray foam removal.
RICS surveyors are professionally regulated and carry industry-recognised qualifications.
After spray foam removal, lenders including Halifax, TSB, Skipton Building Society and Leeds Building Society routinely require an independent RICS surveyor's report confirming all foam has been removed, timbers are sound, and ventilation is restored.
The RICS report typically costs £500-1,500 and is arranged 1-2 weeks after removal completes.
